Kevin’s passion is hunting. He has been a hunter for over 35 years and knows the New Zealand wilderness like the back of his hand.  Kevin’s goal is for all of his guests to leave happy with a hunting story that will be told for years to come.

As an avid outdoorsman, there’s not much Kevin hasn’t done.  He will not only be taking you through all the activities that the lodge has to offer, but will share his many experiences of outdoors NZ and can point you in the right direction if you intend on traveling further around NZ.

Colleen will take care of your every need whilst you are inside the lodge as well as helping with booking and / or recommending a non-hunting experience.  With vast knowledge of the local activities and surroundings, Colleen can recommend where to eat, drink and play around Wairarapa and beyond.

Colleen has created a relaxed atmosphere with an added touch of luxury.  Her background in interior design is obvious throughout the lodge with its classic but modern décor throughout.

Whilst it may not be food that is drawing you to the lodge, it will most definitely be one of the highlights and Colleens home-style cooking and baking may have you leaving Wairarapa a few pounds heavier than when you arrived.
